Who says old songs aren't cool? Half of my MP3 database are filled with Air Supply, The Scorpions, BEATLES, Frank Sinatra, Matt Monroe, Eagles... Richard Marx, Eric Clapton.

... well, you get the point.

When I was a kid, I got introduced to the Beatles by my tita, I used to sing and dance in front of the TV when they're on. Since then they occupied a special place in my heart. My dad liked Matt Monroe and Frank Sinatra while my mom liked Michael Learns to Rock, Bryan Adams and Jon Bon Jovi.

And now... surprisingly enough, I like them all too. As a kid I didn't understand how they could like those songs but now I defend these songs to the death and would pick them over Britney Spears any day.

I also like Bread and the Bee Gees(sp?). Father's influence as well.
There are MANY other old songs and singers I find quite good. I get to listen to them when my dad plays them but I don't know the titles and names. ^^;;

Michael Learns to Rock and Bon Jovi, are on the list too; although my parents don't listen to that. I just know them from when I was young haha..

My parents also used to play Michael Jackson, the Stylistics, Rita Lee (of Lanca Perfume fame) and Prince (LOL can't type the unpronouncable symbol here) during Sunday mornings when I was a kid.
