2 of American Idol's fave Davids are gonna perform in the Philppines. Any insights? Comments?

I've been a David Cook fan ever since I heard his version of Lionel Richie's Hello. I'm a sucky fangirl though, because I don't have a copy of his latest album yet. I heard his single once; didn't like it. It was either something he didn't write himself, or something he wrote to please a specific audience (or his producers). Ick.

What I do have is a copy of his old album, one that he produced before he joined Idol. Though somewhat cliche, and some of the songs sounded pretty much the same, it was heartfelt, and it seemed that it really did come from him, unlike his post-Idol album.

Yes, I like Cook, but I guess not enough to spend 2k+ bucks to see him perform live.

Archuleta, on the other hand...HEH. He's a good singer, but his singing style doesn't have much variety. I heard his single on the radio and immediately started laughing. The lyrics, OH GOD, the lyrics. I know he's pretty young, but COME ON. A song about a crush??? Aaron Carter, much?

I would love to see them perform, pero sheesh the price is too steep for me. Although if I had the cash I'd go and see them; bargain na kaya yun, for 3.5k you get to see 2 performers with 2 different sets dba?
